Your role

In this highly diverse and dynamic position, you are part of the global communications team and you will take the overall lead for employee engagement and sponsoring. You will work closely with stakeholders across our locations globally as well as the senior management to develop and implement employee engagement strategies with the aim to transform our internal communications function to the next level and with a strong focus to support the company's long-term growth ambitions.

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to enhance employee engagement, cultivating a strong sense of belonging and brand ambassadorship across our global network
  • Create engaging internal content and compelling brand stories, including videos, articles, newsletters, presentations and other materials that inform, inspire, and align our global workforce.
  • Implement effective communication strategies for organizational initiatives, ensuring employees understand and embrace the initiatives.
  • Work in close cooperation with our global manufacturing sites to provide them with well-defined and high standard of advice, capabilities and competences. Lead internal communications for HQ as well as for our largest manufacturing site in Switzerland.
  • Implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and tactics.
  • Act as the communications business partner for all internal functions, specifically for HR and the implementation of our employer branding strategy
  • Take the lead for the planning as well as the activation of our sponsoring activities.  You ensure that our sponsoring platforms are in line with our company targets and that the activation plan best supports our internal and external communications strategy 
  • Organize external and internal events with an innovative and detailed eye, looking for excellent quality and best possible leverage to strengthen our internal and external brand
  • As part of the global rebranding project and you will take the lead to implement the new brand positioning internally 

Your profile

  • Broad experience in developing and implementing employee engagement for a global company and within a multi-cultural environment
  • Passionate communicator with demonstrated expertise to develop targeted content in all type of formats 
  • In-depth knowledge of different internal communication channels and tools. Expert in Sharepoint based intranets and Office 365
  • Excellent English and German writing and editing skills
  • Hands on mentality and excited to operate both on strategic as well as on operational level
  • Bachelor's Degree in communications, public relations, journalism, mass communication, or related area
  • 5-10 years of experience in corporate communications and internal communications
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset, with an appetite to build a growing communications function
  • Solid interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ambitious, resilient personality who enjoys to work in a fast-paced environment

Zofingen is the hub of the Siegfried Group. The production facility at our Zofingen headquarters supplies our customers around the globe with exemplary Swiss quality. The Siegfried company is a popular employer in the Zofingen region, where we meet our social responsibility by training apprentices.
