Your role

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Junior Legal Counsel to join our team in our Headquarters in Zofingen, Switzerland. While we are flexible, you are interested in a 40-60% work quota as a starting position after or alongside completing your legal degree. This is an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, working in a close-knit, high-impact legal team.


Your tasks:

  • Review of basic agreements, and assistance in drafting and reviewing more complex international agreements, whether it’s supply agreements, custom manufacturing agreements or procurement agreements (incl. IT-related agreements)
  • Support Siegfried's personal data protection program, with a focus on GDPR and Swiss data protection laws
  • Collaborate with Siegfried's corporate teams (HR, Finance, Engineering, etc.) by providing legal advice under the guidance of senior counsel
  • Assist in resolving legal issues and disputes, including preparing documents, gathering information and coordinating with internal stakeholders
  • Support in managing court and arbitration proceedings, including cooperation with external legal advisors
  • Help ensure compliance with Siegfried's corporate governance policies and assist in managing the legal administration of Siegfried’s subsidiaries


Your profile

  • You are currently completing or have already completed a Master of Laws degree
  • You are fluent in contractual and business English
  • You can work independently with a certain level of initiative and accountability in achieving your objectives
  • You can prioritize tasks and have a high sense of responsibility
  • You are a natural collaborator, able to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners alike


Additional nice-to have skills:

  • You have working experience, preferably in a law firm or in an in-house legal function
  • You have additional training or qualifications in the fields of law, business or science
  • You are fluent in German, French or Spanish
  • You have good presentation skills
  • You can explain legal concepts to internal and external business partners

What we do in Zofingen

Zofingen is the hub of the Siegfried Group. The production facility at our Zofingen headquarters supplies our customers around the globe with exemplary Swiss quality. The Siegfried company is a popular employer in the Zofingen region, where we meet our social responsibility by training apprentices.
