Your role

SUMMARY:  
The incumbent will play a critical role in optimizing and streamlining the operational excellence processes within the organization.  The primary responsibility with be to identify opportunities for improvement, develop and implement efficient procedures, provide hands on training, support production, conduct investigations, implement corrective actions, and improve yields and cycle times, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Learn fundamental knowledge of the Siegfried Production System principles and application of the standards/tools to various areas including but not limited to; Operations, Quality, Material Supply, and Engineering 
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to instill a culture of continuous improvement within the production personnel
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor effectiveness of operational processes. 
Conduct thorough analyses of existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
Apply and execute basic six sigma methodology (Yellow Belt) tools to drive continuous improvement 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, metrics and insight related to operational performance.
Identifies and implements cost reduction projects.
Design and implement improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall productivity.
Regularly report on global and local performance metrics and provide insights to leadership for informed decision-making.  
Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to identify and eliminate waste, streamline processes, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
Facilitate and/or participate in Kaizen events, GEMBA walks, 5S audits and Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) reviews, mapping and problem solving.
Adheres to personal moral, ethical, legal, and behavioral conduct that is in compliance with the Siegfried Code of Conduct.
Implements and adheres to all applicable SHE, DEA, and cGMP regulations.

SUPERVISION:
The incumbent must be able to give technical instructions to chemical operators.

Your profile

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience OR Associate Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma or Equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or a similar role.
Must have excellent role model/leadership capabilities.
Ability to organize data, construct visual data-analysis, infer/interpret data to propose actions for continuous improvement 
Familiarity with process mapping tools and statistical analysis.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work efficiently with people of all levels and cultures.
Must be a team player.
Must be highly organized and must be very conscientious and detail-oriented.
Must be a self-starter and initiator.
Must have good computer skills (word, spreadsheet, presentation).
Must be able to manage several complex projects/issues simultaneously.

Must be able to show determination and resilience.
Must be able to execute sound commercial judgment

 Nice-to-Have 
Knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and manufacturing procedures and standards 
Relevant pharmaceutical experience 
Lean Yellow Belt exposure and capability
