Your role

We are looking for a Process and Plant Safety Expert (100%) to join our dedicated team at our Zofingen site. This is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative and dynamic environment where your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance across our pharmaceutical and chemical processes.

What You'll Do:

  • Enforce SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) compliance across development and operations.
  • Organize, lead, and document risk analyses (e.g., HAZOP, FMEA, process risk assessments).
  • Ensure SHE measures are effectively integrated into operations and approved.
  • Review and enhance process and occupational safety instructions.
  • Address internal and external inquiries on SHE topics.
  • Advise teams on process and plant safety best practices.
  • Conduct evaluations and develop safety methods in our safety lab.
  • Stay current with safety technology and undergo relevant training.
  • Lead internal and external SHE training sessions.
  • Review and implement safety-related SOPs.

Your profile

Skills:
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Background in chemistry, life sciences, or experience as a chemical/pharmaceutical technician or laboratory technician.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in process safety within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
  • Solid understanding of process safety, thermal safety, and occupational health requirements.
  • Experience in conducting and moderating risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP, FMEA).
  • Ability to perform and evaluate safety measurements (e.g., RC1, DSC, Radex, C80).
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn new safety technologies.
