Your role


In this role, you will have the overall technical responsibility for the timely, cost-effective and compliant production of the products in your area of responsibility. You will develop strategies to ensure ontime delivery, availability of capabilities and capacities and to continuously improve qualitaty and economic performance. 

Main tasks:

  • You will manage complex customer portfolio and projects for the assigned customers.
  • You are the primary contact person for our customers during the entire life cycle of the assigned products. 
  • Leads the product leadership team (PLT) for his portfolio. Defines and drives improvement projects including scope definition, milestone planning, resource allocation, cost controlling
  • You work closely with the development, analytics and production departments at different sites.
  • Good communication skills are essential. 
  • Ensures that all manufactured products within its program are produced and delivered on time, in compliance with all regulatory requirements, in accordance with quality and at the lowest possible cost.
  • Develops forward-looking concepts (production plan, technical feasibility, development costs, risk matrix) and constantly improves the performance of its products.
  • You will ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines in collaboration with ESH, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and the Registration Department. 
  • You will be responsible for adhering to budget targets and supervise and monitor project progress.
  • Represents its program products with the Business Development Manager (BDM) in decision-making bodies and is the primary contact internally and for the customers. Acts as “customer advocate on the site” for technical and delivery topics


Your profile

      
  • You have a degree in chemistry or chemical engineering (FH, ETH, Uni). If you have a doctorate, this would be an advantage. 
  • You have at least 5-8 years of professional experience in the field of drug synthesis, either in a pharmaceutical service environment or in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company. 
  • Furthermore, you have extensive experience in the GMP and regulatory environment 
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills (at least level C1) are essential for managing the tasks with the other sites.  
  • You are proficient in IT systems and can quickly familiarize yourself with new systems.  
  • You are characterized by very good communication and decision-making skills as well as a strong team spirit. 
  • You are highly flexible and able to adapt quickly to new situations
